There was a Dunphy family reunion at the University of Oregon vs. the University of Wisconsin\u2013Madison game on Oct. 25.\n<\/p>\n
Modern Family<\/a> costars Julie Bowen<\/a> and Ty Burrell<\/a> snapped a selfie together while watching the college football match. Wrapped in green and gold, the castmates were cheering on the Oregon Ducks.\n<\/p>\n “Great (wet) weekend with @itsoliverphillips at U of Oregon,” Bowen wrote in an Instagram post<\/a>. “Dancing bears, old friends and a deluge\u2026all capped off by a win from the Oregon Ducks at Autzen!”\n<\/p>\n The Happy Gilmore star was in attendance with her son Oliver Phillips, 18, who attends the University of Oregon. Meanwhile, Burrell, who attended the school in the late 1980s, was showing love for his alma mater. The actor previously gave a commencement speech<\/a> at the college in 2021.\n<\/p>\n Any worried fans who have been missing Burrell during recent cast gatherings can now breathe a sigh of relief. Diehard viewers of the sitcom shared love for the Claire and Phil reunion in the comments of Bowen’s post.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n When the rest of the cast, sans Burrell, reunited in 2023<\/a>, some fans speculated that the Dunphy patriarch had died because of his absence. He recently opened up<\/a> about leaving Hollywood to raise his children in Utah.\n<\/p>\n “We moved here right after [Modern Family] ended, and I don’t have any regrets,” he told PEOPLE<\/a>. “It’s been lovely and a great place to raise the kids.”\n<\/p>\n
