Kirk Herbstreit released the latest edition of his top-five on Monday. However, it wouldn\u2019t be an update, though, as, with each of his teams in there not losing, it was the exact same as it was after Week 9 as it was last week after Week 8<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Herbstreit shared that during Monday\u2019s episode of \u2018Nonstop\u2019<\/a> with Joey Galloway, who also kept his top-five the same<\/a>. He kept all five teams in his ranking, with there still being a bit of separation for him between his top-three from fourth and fifth<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, nothing changed for me either,\u201d said Herbstreit. \u201cI still \u2013 I think those top-three teams are very, very challenging to try to separate.\u201d<\/p>\n

Here was this week\u2019s breakdown of the top-five posted by Herbstreit:<\/p>\n

Ohio State remained at No. 1 for Herbstreit coming off a bye on Saturday. Still, the Buckeyes, despite some of their top wins maybe not having as much value as they once did as we come to the end of October, are staying as the top team in the nation as an undefeated at 7-0 (4-0).<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know, I think, with Ohio State\u2019s resum\u00e9? At first, it looked like, hey, this is great, and then, as the season has gone on it\u2019s not as impressive. But, they\u2019re playing, every single week, pretty much the same team, you know, in dominant fashion,\u201d said Herbstreit. \u201cThey\u2019ve been great. So, you could easily put them there at one.\u201d<\/p>\n

Then, at No. 2, Indiana remained in that spot, as they also stayed undefeated at 8-0 (5-0) with another blowout as they posted a 56-6 win over<\/a> UCLA<\/a> on Saturday<\/a>. The Hoosiers are winning by an average margin of 34.5 points per victory, and the top two teams here for Herbstreit look to be on a collision course at the Big Ten Championship in Indianapolis.<\/p>\n

\u201cIndiana? Can make a strong case for them,\u201d Herbstreit said.<\/p>\n

Texas A&M also remained undefeated, at 8-0 (5-0), with a 49-25 blowout of<\/a> No. 20 LSU<\/a> in Baton Rouge<\/a>. The Aggies are then that final team in that top-three which have really separated themselves in the opinion of Herbstreit.<\/p>\n

\u201cTexas A&M, as the season goes on, looks more and more impressive,\u201d said Herbstreit.<\/p>\n

Also still among the undefeated teams is Georgia Tech, which moved to 8-0 (5-0) with a 41-16 victory over<\/a> Syracuse<\/a> on Saturday. Herbstreit moved the Yellow Jackets into the top-five last week, and that looks even better a week later still with GT becoming even more of a favorite out of the ACC.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have Georgia Tech up at number four for me,\u201d Herbstreit said. \u201cI really like that Georgia Tech team. We\u2019ll see. Bigger challenges ahead for them<\/p>\n

Alabama was the team in the top-five here which found itself in the most trouble on Saturday, as they were down as much as eight to start the fourth quarter against South Carolina<\/a> in Columbia. But, in scoring 15 points in the final three minutes of the game to win at 29-22<\/a> over the Gamecocks, the Crimson Tide maintained their spot in Herbstreit\u2019s ranking, and in moving to 7-1 (5-0).<\/p>\n
