Andrey Rublev has revealed what Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner actually do that makes them so dominant on the ATP Tour.<\/p>\n

Rublev could take a break from tennis<\/a> after admitting he is feeling exhausted from the sport after a long season.<\/p>\n

The former world number five appears to be in a different situation to Alcaraz<\/a> and Sinner, with the latter just winning the Vienna Open<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Alcaraz is also looking to finish the season with silverware<\/a>, and Rublev<\/a> has explained just what makes the top two ranked players on the ATP Tour<\/a> so good.<\/p>\n

Alcaraz and Sinner have shared the last eight major titles<\/a> with one another, and have actually played the last three Grand Slam finals against each other.<\/p>\n

Sinner<\/a> is currently the world number two, but he is still 4,340 points ahead of world number three Alexander Zverev<\/a>, and Rublev has explained just what makes them so much better than everyone else at the moment.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell everything, because they\u2019re the kind of players who can do it all,\u201d Rublev told Tennis Bolshoi when asked about what he would take from Alcaraz and Sinner. \u201cThey\u2019re very fast, they know how to play at high speed, they take away your time. <\/p>\n

\u201cYou haven\u2019t even finished your shot, and the next one is already coming at you. They have a great feel for how to approach the ball and they can also defend with ease. Both move very well, both have great coordination. <\/p>\n

\u201cWhen they\u2019re defending, they always keep their balance. And so, even if things aren\u2019t going well, or their game isn\u2019t clicking, they can slow it down with their legs, play defensively, and still win matches. And they know how to do everything. <\/p>\n

\u201cSo yeah, these components are probably the ones that make the difference. They can play at a high tempo, at a high level for hours, without losing focus\u2026without losing attention. They can maintain that level for four or five hours and that\u2019s what makes them special. Because even players who can play at high speed, after an hour and a half or three hours, they\u2019ll have moments where they dip. These guys almost never have those dips.\u201d<\/p>\n

What is Andrey Rublev\u2019s head-to-head record against Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner?<\/p>\n

World number 17 Rublev is far from the level of Alcaraz and Sinner at the moment, and he does have a losing head-to-head against both players.<\/p>\n

That being said, Rublev is one of the only players to beat Sinner<\/a> over the past two years, which came at the Canadian Open<\/a> in 2024.<\/p>\n

Rublev\u2019s only victory over Alcaraz came last year, when he ended the Spaniard\u2019s title defence at the Madrid Open<\/a>.<\/p>\n

If he wants to test his level against the top two players again, Rublev will have to end his five-match losing streak and reach the fourth round of the Paris Masters<\/a>, where he could play Sinner.<\/p>\n
