This morning, the DHS posted an image featuring Halo characters, a Warthog vehicle from the games, and the text \u201cDESTROY THE FLOOD\u201d and a link to ICE\u2019s recruitment website. The DHS captioned <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/DHSgov\/status\/1982819431894901043\" rel=\"nofollow\">the post<\/a>, \u201cfinishing this fight.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">Like with its Pok\u00e9mon-themed post, which was captioned, \u201cGotta Catch \u2018Em All,\u201d the DHS\u2019s Halo post implicitly compares immigrants to creatures from video games \u2014 this time, the parasitic alien species called the Flood.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">Microsoft declined to comment about the DHS\u2019s post, and didn\u2019t immediately respond to a request for comment about the White House\u2019s and GameStop\u2019s posts.
