Actor Charlie Sheen regaled Club Random\u2019s\u00a0Bill Maher\u00a0with an off-the-cuff idea for combating crime in big cities that stopped the host in his tracks.<\/p>\n
\u201cNinety-percent of Twitter is from the 10 percent of people who use it,\u201d Maher said during their hour-long chat<\/a>. \u201cLike, most of it is from the people who use it a lot. That\u2019s their hobby.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s like crime!\u201d Sheen exclaimed.<\/p>\n \u201cTotally!\u201d Maher agreed. \u201cLike, in New York, they had some crazy stat \u2014 because, you know, they throw people in jail and then they\u2019re out the next day. Like something \u2014 some crazy percentage of crimes, some side of crime, was like from 600 people who just over and over did like 80 percent of whatever.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThat is just \u2014 wow,\u201d Sheen said. \u201cSo, if you\u2019re able to build statistics from that, you clearly know who the fuck the are, right? I mean, so, why aren\u2019t \u2014 why not take just those 600 people and build a special place for them? Call it the 600 Building.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s good! That\u2019s very good. The 600 Building,\u201d Maher mused.<\/p>\n Maher continued, \u201cAnd this is why Republicans get elected. Because Democrats run cities and they don\u2019t do that. And it would be so easy to do that. But then there would be a certain part of their constituency that I guess wouldn\u2019t like that. But everyone should like that. Yes, these are like career criminals. Call me crazy, I don\u2019t think crime should be a career.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cOr be allowed to become one,\u201d Sheen added.<\/p>\n \u201cA side gig, of course! Certainly, I mean, a hustle,\u201d Maher quipped. \u201cBut a career criminal?
