This marked an increase of 340 individuals, or 31 per cent, from the previous year.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">The collective wealth of these affluent individuals reached 30 trillion yuan, a 42 per cent rise compared with last year.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">Zhong Shanshan, the second-richest person in 2024, reclaimed the No 1 position this year as his fortune surged 56 per cent to 530 billion yuan.
