Premier League legend Alan Shearer has waxed lyrical about the impact of one Manchester United star after he revealed his latest Team of the Week picks.<\/p>\n

Manchester United<\/a> have entered a rich vein of form under Ruben Amorim<\/a> and the Red Devils are finally building huge momentum in their Premier League campaign.<\/p>\n

The Red Devils have defeated the likes of Sunderland, defending Premier League champions Liverpool and Brentford in their last three outings in October alone.<\/p>\n

United have now climbed to sixth place after nine Premier League matches and Ruben Amorim\u2019s men are only one point outside of the top four this season.<\/p>\n

The Red Devils were in action on the weekend and United hosted Brighton at Old Trafford<\/a>, with Amorim\u2019s side managing to overcome a late scare to seal a 4-2 win.<\/p>\n

Bryan Mbeumo<\/a> played a starring role for Manchester United against Brighton<\/a> and the Red Devils summer signing netted a sensational second-half brace in the tie.<\/p>\n

The 26-year-old French-born winger scored in the 61st minute to put United 3-0 up, following the first-half goalscoring contributions of Matheus Cunha<\/a> and Casemiro<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Bryan Mbeumo added his name to the scoresheet again deep into injury time after Danny Welbeck<\/a> and Charalampos Kostoulas had netted for Brighton on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The former Brentford ace was a standout performer at Old Trafford<\/a> and Mbeumo was the only United player to make Alan Shearer\u2019s<\/a> Team of the Week picks.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is why Man Utd were so keen to sign him,\u201d Shearer told the Premier League\u2019s official website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was a constant threat against Brighton and produced two composed finishes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bryan Mbeumo took his goalscoring tally to five in 10 matches across all competitions since his sensational move from Brentford in the summer.<\/p>\n

Despite his major impact in United\u2019s win over Brighton, the Cameroon international selflessly praised the input of his whole team for their performance at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe team performance, obviously first,\u201d Mbeumo told MUTV, as per Manchester United\u2019s official website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m very pleased with the win today. Everyone made the effort and fight for each other and, yeah, at the end, it was a good result.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are working on the link-ups in training and try to replicate it on the pitch.\u201d<\/p>\n
