Josh Stein\u2019s office. The jobs will average $176,250, more than double the average wage in the county.<\/p>\n<p>The Newport Beach, California-based company plans to lease 68,000 square feet in three floors at the <a href=\"https:\/\/queensbridgecollective.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Queensbridge Collective<\/a> building in Charlotte\u2019s South End neighborhood. Full occupancy is expected in 2028.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCharlotte\u2019s national reputation as one of the nation\u2019s top financial services centers continues to attract great companies to our state,\u201d Stein said in an email.<\/p>\n<p>State officials approved a $5.5 million Job Development Investment Grant over the next 12 years. Payments hinge on meeting job and investment targets.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAttracting and developing leading talent is central to Pacific Life\u2019s growth strategy,\u201d said Pacific Life CEO Darryl Button. \u201cCharlotte is home to a thriving workforce, and we look forward to welcoming new talent to the Pacific Life team to help drive our long-term success.<\/p>\n<p>Pacific Mutual Life was founded in 1868 by former<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/California_Governor\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> California Governor Leland Stanford <\/a>in<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sacramento,_California\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> Sacramento.<\/a> It is among the largest U.S. insurance companies, overseeing $239 billion in assets.
