\u201cThe fact that he had surgery (Sunday) night probably tells us that they felt it was very time sensitive. If you were able to get the ankle back in place, sometimes you would let the swelling go down for a week or two before proceeding with the definitive treatment.\u201d<\/p>\n
The lingering question is when Skattebo can potentially return, with Giants coach Brian Daboll stating the former Arizona State star has a \u201clong road\u201d ahead of him.<\/p>\n
Skattebo has roughly eight months to prepare for training camp, and Gonzalez-Lomas told The Post there\u2019s a \u201cgood chance\u201d Skattebo could be ready for July 2026.<\/p>\n
The NFL Network report said the Giants expect him back for the offseason program.<\/p>\n
