\n\tSPOILER ALERT: This post contains spoilers for Episode 407 of Apple TV\u2019s The Morning Show<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tEpisode 7 of The Morning Show Season 4, titled \u201cPerson of Interest,\u201d tests Bradley like never before, expanding on the tension of her deal with the Feds versus maintaining her journalistic integrity.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs Bradley gets closer to figuring out who is responsible for the Wolf River cover-up within UBA, Bel Powley\u2019s Claire Conway resurfaces following her return in the third episode<\/a>, further complicating Bradley\u2019s tenuous situation with the FBI because the Feds are searching for Claire due to her involvement with Extinction Revolt, who they call a \u201cdomestic terrorist cell.\u201d Bradley wants to protect her source, who is a wanted fugitive and former TMS staffer, but her arrangement to cooperate with the FBI after her involvement in the insurrection makes it difficult when they reach out to Bradley to ask if she has spoken to Claire or knows where she is.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter reconnecting with Yanko (Nestor Carbonnell) \u2014 the pair were romantically involved in Season 1 \u2014 Claire makes a move to go on TMS and tell her story, which forces Bradley\u2019s hand to tell her FBI contact Claire\u2019s whereabouts or spend the next 10 years in a federal pen for \u201caiding and abetting.\u201d This comes after Bradley looked through Cory\u2019s phone to sift through his involvement with the cover-up while they were together, bringing about a fast breakup after they got together<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI think everybody\u2019s gonna be a little bit mad at her. She makes a lot of people mad this year, also what she does to Claire. Bad,\u201d Witherspoon said. \u201cI don\u2019t know if that one\u2019s recoverable. This character is hard to play this season because she didn\u2019t make a lot of choices that I felt good about.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tEpisode 407 ends with the Feds raiding UBN and taking Claire away, set to \u201cWay Down We Go\u201d by KALEO. Yanko keeps it cool while anchoring the teacup with Bradley, but once their segment concludes, he gives her the cold shoulder.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cBut what were you gonna do? That\u2019s the hard thing. It\u2019s such an internal struggle,\u201d Jennifer Aniston<\/a> added. \u201c What\u2019s the right thing to do and what\u2019s protecting your sources? Which is a journalist\u2019s code, to protect your sources. A lot of conflict of interest.\u201d<\/p>\n
