Five-star recruits Bryant Wesco and T.J. Moore enter their sophomore seasons after promising freshmen campaigns. The NCAA&#8217;s decision not to retroactively include bowl game statistics remains an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jsonline.com\/story\/sports\/college\/uw\/2024\/09\/11\/why-doesnt-ron-dayne-have-the-official-ncaa-rushing-record\/75172030007\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:annual source of contention;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">annual source of contention<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Moving forward, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/sports\/ncaaf\/2024\/12\/20\/college-football-playoff-cfp-first-round-games-bowl-game-record\/77072585007\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:NCAA has said;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">NCAA has said<\/a> that first-round College Football Playoff games in the new 12-team format would be counted among teams&#8217; overall postseason records.
