Mayoral candidate Curtis Sliwa<\/a> already has one problem to solve shall he win the election on Nov. 4: ensuring his older sister is on the list.<\/p>\n

Sliwa\u2019s \u201cemotional healer\u201d sibling, Aleta St. James<\/a>, 77, arrived to Leesa Rowland and Larry Wohl\u2019s Midnight At the Met Masquerade Ball \u2014 where guests were encouraged to \u201cdress like it\u2019s your last day of your life\u201d \u2014 at the Chelsea Industrial on Friday night, only to be told to kick rocks by \u201cvery rude\u201d society flack, Norah Lawlor, a spy told Page Six.<\/p>\n

A source told us St. James was invited as a plus one, but had failed to reply to an email to officially add her name to the RSVP list.<\/p>\n

\u201cNorah kept asking her her name, and she said, \u2018You\u2019re not on the list.\u2019 She was really rude in front of everyone, and kept snapping at security to \u2018escort her out,’\u201d the spy claimed. <\/p>\n

We\u2019re told St. James even used her surname, suggesting \u201cmaybe it\u2019s under Sliwa,\u201d which sparked one person in line to say it\u2019s the Guardian Angels founder\u2019s sister, but no dice. <\/p>\n

\u201cNorah was so mean. She told security to \u2018escort her out now!\u2019 Security even thought it was ridiculous. They were trying not to laugh,\u201d our source said.<\/p>\n

Lawlor insisted she had no idea who St. James was and that \u201cthe individual turned away did not show any proof that she received an RSVP for the event.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u201cWe could not identify her as she would not give her name and as a consquence could not admit her,\u201d Lawlor told Page Six.<\/p>\n

Lawlor, who counts socialite Jean Shafiroff as one of her clients<\/a>, further insisted, \u201cit was not about politics. It was about event protocol and respect for the client\u2019s guest list.\u201d <\/p>\n

Another source told us St. James did not show an email or text. \u201cNorah has a reputation for running a tight door and she wasn\u2019t able to prove she was invited. She was not in costume. It wasn\u2019t personal,\u201d they said.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Rowland and Wohl\u2019s Halloween bash, which Lawlor says has grown in popularity each year, was produced by Hank Stampfl\u2019s Revel Rouge Events. Sandra Ripert, Marc Bauer, Anna Rothschild, Noreen Donovan, Carmen D\u2019Alessio, Dr. Dendy Engelman, Lauren Day Roberts and R. Couri Hay, were among the VIPs partaking in the spooky fun.<\/p>\n

Curtis Sliwa is one of three remaining mayoral candidates in the tense race to Gracie Mansion, though he has been under heavy pressure to drop out to make it a two-horse race between Andrew Cuomo and heavy favorite Zohran Mamdani.
