Here\u2019s how to find them.<\/p>\n<p>The iPhone\u2019s Camera app is easily one of the most important and popular. And in iOS 26, it received some big changes.<\/p>\n<p>Users might even panic a little the first time they open the redesigned Camera app.<\/p>\n<p>Why? Because it appears that core features are missing, like:<\/p>\n<p>Portrait<\/p>\n<p>Pano<\/p>\n<p>Slo-Mo<\/p>\n<p>Time-Lapse<\/p>\n<p>Actually though, Apple has simply chosen to make these controls invisible by default, despite them being available in the same place as always.<\/p>\n<p>Even though iOS 26\u2019s Camera app only shows Video and Photo as available modes, you can actually swipe left and right\u2014just the same as always\u2014to access those additional features.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1000\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/camera-ios-26-ui.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1025854\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>Swipe left on Photo, for example, and you\u2019ll find Portrait mode.<\/p>\n<p>So switching modes works the same way as ever. But for the sake of reducing visual clutter, I suppose, Apple decided to hide those additional modes.<\/p>\n<p>Personally, it\u2019s very rare that I use any mode but Photo and Video. But I\u2019m still not a fan of this change.<\/p>\n<p>I wish Apple offered some sort of persistent visual indicator that users can swipe to find their tried and true extra camera modes.<\/p>\n<p>Also, in case you missed it, the grid icon in the top-right corner of Camera now houses a bunch of different settings. <\/p>\n<p>For photos these include Flash, Live Photos, Timer, Exposure, Photographic Styles, Aspect Ratio, and more. But they change based on the camera mode you\u2019re in, so in Video mode you\u2019ll see Action mode and Dual Capture on compatible iPhones.<\/p>\n<p>What do you think of iOS 26\u2019s changes to the Camera app?
