That has dealers hopeful, buoyed by some decent auction\u00a0results at Christie\u2019s and Sotheby\u2019s in London\u00a0and Paris over the last couple of weeks. The general attitude, as Gerlis describes it? Cautious, historically minded, and somewhat optimistic.
