Tom Brady\u2019s representative is quashing claims that the NFL legend believes actor Sof\u00eda Vergara is \u201ctoo old\u201d for him, but stopped short of shutting down rumors<\/a> of a romance between the two. <\/p>\n

On Friday, Brady\u2019s rep issued a brief statement to People<\/a> in response to a Daily Mail report<\/a> that alleged the former New England Patriots quarterback, 47, viewed Vergara, 53, as \u201colder and stuck in her ways,\u201d and therefore, not compatible with him as a romantic partner. <\/p>\n

\u201cTom never said, nor would he ever say, anything like this,\u201d the statement to People read. \u201cIt is pure fiction.\u201d <\/p>\n

Speculation over the nature of Brady\u2019s relationship with Vergara began heating up earlier this month when the two were photographed aboard the Ritz-Carlton\u2019s new luxury yacht, Luminara, in Europe. Also reportedly present<\/a> on the yacht\u2019s two-day maiden voyage were Kate Hudson, Naomi Campbell, and Colman Domingo, among other stars. <\/p>\n

Vergara appears seated next to Brady in a photo the \u201cModern Family\u201d actor shared last week as part of a carousel of images<\/a> documenting the trip. <\/p>\n

\u201cWhat a perfect weekend full of surprises!\u201d Vergara wrote in the caption. <\/p>\n

Brady has been single since his 2022 split from supermodel Gisele Bu\u0308ndchen, with whom he shares two children, after 13 years of marriage. He was recently linked<\/a> in the media with model Irina Shayk<\/a>, whose famous exes include actor Bradley Cooper and soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo.<\/p>\n

Vergara and Brady have never publicly confirmed a relationship. <\/p>\n

Vergara split<\/a> from \u201cTrue Blood\u201d actor Joe Manganiello<\/a> in 2023 after seven years of marriage. In 2024, she went Instagram-official with a new boyfriend, orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman<\/a>, but seemingly confirmed to \u201cAccess Hollywood\u201d she was single once again<\/a> while attending the Golden Globes in January. <\/p>\n

Last month, Vergara addressed what she\u2019s looking for<\/a> in her next relationship in an interview with NBC\u2019s \u201cToday.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cI want to say the basic stuff, like health and somebody that loves me,\u201d she explained. \u201cAnd somebody tall, handsome. I want somebody that has as much money as me or more, because if not, it\u2019s a nightmare. They end up resenting you.\u201d<\/p>\n
