Breaking: Man dies in ATV crash in Wallowa County<\/p>\n

ENTERPRISE \u2014 An 87-year-old Enterprise man died Wednesday, Oct. 29, from injuries suffered in an all-terrain vehicle crash east of Joseph.<\/p>\n
Daniel Clyde Grover died at the scene in the Divide Ridge Access Area about 9 miles from Joseph, according to a statement Oct. 30 from the Wallowa County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n
Sheriff\u2019s deputies responded to a 911 call about 3 p.m. Oct. 29 about a possible crash. Based on the scene and statements from those close to Grover\u2019s family, the sheriff\u2019s office reported, it appeared Grover had been alone on the ATV and lost control while traveling down a steep hill, where it struck two trees. Evidence indicated the impact threw Grover through the windshield, causing life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n
This is the second deadly ATV crash this month in southern Wallowa County.
