Angel Reese has been one of the faces of the WNBA ever since her debut in 2024. Reese won the national championship with LSU in 2023. In her two seasons with the Tigers, Reese averaged 20.9 points, 2.3 assists and 14.4 rebounds, as her career peaked under coach Kim Mulkey.<\/p>\n
Angel Reese was selected seventh overall in the 2024 WNBA draft by the Chicago Sky. Ever since her arrival in the league, Reese has never refrained from voicing her opinion. Whether it be about the state of Chicago Sky, giving a harsh reality check to her teammates, something political or replying back to her critics on different aspects.<\/p>\n
Another such incident happened when Reese talked about CBA negotiations and hinted toward a possible lockout.<\/p>\n
\u201cI promise you, we aren\u2019t going to play unless we get NBA money.\u201d Reese said<\/a>.<\/p>\n The WNBA management has delayed the CBA negotiations that were supposed to be closed by the end of October. However, the negotiations have been postponed without a timeline. After Napheesa Collier\u2019s criticism of WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert, the whole league backed Collier.<\/p>\n Even before the controversy began, WNBA players asked for their right with gestures such as doing their warms in custom T-shirts. NBA keeps it afloat,\u201d another fan claimed<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cNo one is ever going to spend that much money on a WNBA player.
