The rollout has hit major milestone this week, with the Galaxy S22 series now receiving the update on multiple carriers in the US.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.verizon.com\/support\/samsung-galaxy-s22-update\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Verizon<\/a> has updated support pages for the Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra to show that, starting today, each is eligible to download Android 16-based One UI 8 along with the October Android security patch. Verizon\u2019s support page updates say that S22 phones purchased through the carrier are now eligible to download Samsung\u2019s latest software, but that doesn\u2019t tell us much about the rollout status on other carriers or for unlocked devices.<\/p>\n<p>A few days ago, user <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/S22Ultra\/comments\/1ohyeck\/just_received_oneui_80_usa_on_att\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">shiftyfox380<\/a> posted on the Galaxy S22 Ultra subreddit that their phone had received the update on AT&amp;T. Several commenters on the post say the same.<\/p>\n<p>One UI 8 should be the S22 series\u2019 final <a href=\"https:\/\/www.androidauthority.com\/samsung-galaxy-s22-one-ui-8-android-16-update-3604172\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">fourth and final major update<\/a>.
