Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui joined Street Fighter 6 as guests<\/a> last season, and it’s time for Capcom to return the favor with another icon of their own.

During the first day of the SNK World Championship 2025<\/a>, SNK revealed the full gameplay trailer for Chun-Li in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.<\/p>\n

The trailer begins with a special pre-fight intro between Chun-Li and Mai where they toss the fan back and forth before the SNK heroine asks to see which one of them is the real “queen of fighters.”<\/p>\n

And then there’s the cherry on top of the ladies coming together and bumping chests in a reference to their iconic SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos artwork<\/a>.<\/p>\n


\n <\/p>\n

With the actual start of the action, we get to see that Chun can combo her lights into Spinning Bird Kick, but what’s perhaps more interesting is she’s also able to Feint Kikoken a heavy punch into Tensho Kicks \u2014 so that’s a bit different than what she can do in Street Fighter.<\/p>\n


\n <\/p>\n

They also show off some pretty wild stuff she can do from Brake canceling the Tensho Kicks into moves like REV Spinning Bird Kick and more.<\/p>\n


\n <\/p>\n

One thing that doesn’t seem to appear in the trailer, however, is her Serenity Stream stance from Street Fighter 6, so we’ll have to see if those will be part of her Fatal Fury incarnation or not. <\/p>\n


\n <\/p>\n

Chun-Li’s regular Gear Supers appear to be Kikosho and Hoyoku-sen while her Hidden Gear looks to be sort of new but also a combination of some past moves including shooting a giant Kikosho blast.<\/p>\n


\n <\/p>\n

Just like Ken Masters too<\/a>, Chun-Li comes not just with her Street Fighter 6 design but also her classic costume as well, which is shown off towards the end of the trailer.<\/p>\n


\n <\/p>\n

Chun will become the fourth DLC character for the new Fatal Fury following Andy Bogard<\/a>, Ken, and most recently Joe Higashi<\/a> before ending out the first season with Mr. Big early next year.<\/p>\n


\n <\/p>\n

SNK did not provide a release date for Chun-Li yet, but she’s scheduled to hit City of the Wolves this Winter.<\/p>\n


\n <\/p>\n

For those in attendance at the SWC 2025, SNK is offering a Chun-Li Fatal Fury demo<\/a> at the venue too.<\/p>\n


\n <\/p>\n

With this trailer coming so early during the event, perhaps we’ll see more about this apparent Art of Fighting teaser<\/a> that SNK shared recently later on at the championship. <\/p>\n
