The building, which is the &#8220;largest museum in the world dedicated to a single civilisation&#8221;, has a total floor area of 81,000 square meters.<\/p>\n<p>It is home to more than 100,000 pharaonic antiquities, many of which have never been made public before.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/2025\/10\/28\/santiago-calatrava-gare-de-mons-station-belgium\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2262621 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/santiago-calatrava-gare-de-mons-belgium-hero_dezeen_2364_col_0-852x479.jpg\" alt=\"Gare de Mons by Santiago Calatrava\" width=\"2364\" height=\"1330\"  \/><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/2025\/10\/28\/santiago-calatrava-gare-de-mons-station-belgium\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Santiago Calatrava has arranged a Belgian station around a &#8220;monumental bridge&#8221;<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This week we also shared photos of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/2025\/10\/28\/santiago-calatrava-gare-de-mons-station-belgium\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">architect Santiago Calatrava&#8217;s Gare de Mons station<\/a>, which has opened in Belgium. The sculptural building, which Calatrava described as a &#8220;monumental bridge&#8221;, is made of glass and steel and organised around a raised gallery volume that stretches 165 metres across the site.<\/p>\n<p>The station is located along the international Paris to Brussels train line in Mons and traverses a series of 350-metre-long platforms and bus stops that extend outwards from the gallery&#8217;s underside.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/2025\/10\/28\/robbie-williams-the-introvert-chair-moooi\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2263148 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/hero-robbie-williams-moooi-introvert-chair_dezeen_2364_col_0-852x479.jpg\" alt=\"The Introvert Chair by Robbie Williams for Moooi\" width=\"2364\" height=\"1330\"  \/><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/2025\/10\/28\/robbie-williams-the-introvert-chair-moooi\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Robbie Williams ventured into furniture design with The Introvert Chair<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Artist Robbie Williams made his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/2025\/10\/28\/robbie-williams-the-introvert-chair-moooi\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">first foray into furniture design this week with the Introvert Chair<\/a>, which he designed for Dutch furniture brand Moooi. It features a gently curved shape and is wrapped in a tactile blend of virgin wool, alpaca and cotton.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In a world that rarely slows down, we often crave a place of respite, and this chair is just that,&#8221; Williams said.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/2025\/10\/30\/traditional-architecture\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2262976 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/royal-crescent-bath-uk-georgian-architecture-hero_dezeen_2364_col_0-852x479.jpg\" alt=\"Royal Crescent in Bath\" width=\"2364\" height=\"1330\"  \/><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/2025\/10\/30\/traditional-architecture\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">We asked if people really prefer traditional architecture<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The traditional-versus-modernist style debate has resurfaced with US president Donald Trump&#8217;s championing of classical architecture.<\/p>\n<p>Dezeen&#8217;s architecture editor Lizzie Crook spoke to architects and critics for a feature on the subject this week, in which she asked, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/2025\/10\/30\/traditional-architecture\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">do people really prefer traditional architecture?<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/2025\/10\/27\/nike-project-amplify-footwear-system-running-walking\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2262682 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/nike-project-amplify-dephy_dezeen_2364_hero-852x479.jpg\" alt=\"Project Amplify\" width=\"2364\" height=\"1330\"  \/><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/2025\/10\/27\/nike-project-amplify-footwear-system-running-walking\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Nike revealed a motor-assisted running device<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Sportswear brand Nike <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/2025\/10\/27\/nike-project-amplify-footwear-system-running-walking\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">unveiled early concept designs of its battery-powered Project Amplify anklet<\/a>.
