Indiana vaults to No. 1 on my Associated Press ballot after another impressive win at Maryland, while Ohio State drops to No. 2 and Texas A&M to No. 3.<\/p>\n
For me, the difference between the top three teams is razor-thin. I could argue that Ohio State and Texas A&M could also be ranked No. 1.<\/p>\n
With several ranked teams losing Saturday, Texas Tech and Notre Dame move into my Top 10. There are two new teams on my ballot this week: USC and Pitt.<\/p>\n
My Top 25 ballot after Week 10:<\/p>\n
The Hoosiers continue to roll, dominating Maryland<\/a> 55-10. Indiana only led 20-10 early in the third quarter before scoring the game\u2019s final 35 points. Running back Kaelon Black<\/a> rushed for 110 yards and a TD. Quarterback Fernando Mendoza<\/a> threw for 201 yards with one TD and one interception.<\/p>\n The Buckeyes pulled away from Penn State<\/a> in the second half. Ohio State outscored Penn State 21-0 after halftime in the 38-14 victory. Quarterback Julian Sayin<\/a> had 316 yards passing with four TDs. Wide receivers Carnell Tate<\/a> (five receptions, 124 yards) and Jeremiah Smith<\/a> (six catches, 123 yards) each topped the century mark, as did RB Bo Jackson<\/a> (103 yards rushing on only 13 carries).<\/p>\n The Aggies did not play last week. Texas A&M visits Missouri <\/a>on Saturday, followed by consecutive home games with South Carolina<\/a> and Samford<\/a> and then the regular season finale at Texas<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Crimson Tide did not play last week. Alabama hosts LSU<\/a> in the Tigers\u2019 first game since the firing of coach Brian Kelly<\/a>. Alabama closes the regular season with three consecutive home games vs. LSU, Oklahoma<\/a> and Eastern Illinois<\/a> before visiting Auburn<\/a> in the regular season finale.<\/p>\n The Bulldogs held off Florida<\/a> 24-20 in Jacksonville. QB Gunner Stockton<\/a> threw for 223 yards, with 110 yards receiving by wide receiver Zachariah Branch<\/a>. It was Georgia\u2019s fifth consecutive win against the Gators, who were playing their first game since the firing of coach Billy Napier<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Rebels defeated South Carolina<\/a> 30-14. Running back Kewan Lacy<\/a> carried the offense, rushing for 167 yards on 24 carries, including a 54-yard touchdown. Quarterback Trinidad Chambliss<\/a> was limited to 159 yards passing, but added 59 yards rushing.<\/p>\n 7.\u00a0BYU<\/a> (8-0)<\/p>\n The Cougars did not play last week. On Saturday, BYU visits Texas Tech<\/a> in a showdown for the Big 12 lead. After facing Texas Tech, BYU closes the regular season by hosting TCU<\/a>, playing at Cincinnati<\/a> and hosting UCF<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Ducks did not play last week. Oregon visits Iowa<\/a> on Saturday. After playing Iowa, the Ducks host Minnesota<\/a> and USC<\/a> before closing the regular season at Washington<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Red Raiders won 43-20 at Kansas State<\/a>. Quarterback Behren Morton<\/a> returned to the starting lineup and threw for 249 yards and a touchdown. Running back J\u2019Koby Williams<\/a> added 135 yards rushing on 17 carries. <\/p>\n Since starting 0-2, the Fighting Irish have won six consecutive games. Notre Dame won at Boston College<\/a> 25-10. Freshman quarterback CJ Carr<\/a> threw for 299 yards and two touchdowns.
