Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s nearly two-decade marriage has reportedly come to an emotional end, and insiders claim it wasn’t just their busy schedules that drove them apart. The couple, married for 19 years, reportedly quietly drifted apart over the past year. Sources close to the pair claim Urban grew increasingly uncomfortable with his wife’s candid public remarks about her “sexual reawakening” and passionate chemistry with her much younger co-stars.

Nicole Kidman talking about her sexual reawakening was too much for Keith Urban, claims source

A source told Radar Online that Keith Urban was not okay with Nicole Kidman talking “about her sexual reawakening and animal attraction to her costars and has been living his own life.” The insider added that the country singer decided to move out of their home in June. He set up his own place in Nashville while Kidman stayed in their family home and tried to keep their split silent until she filed for divorce on September 30.

Though the breakup shocked fans, the source suggested the separation was coming for a while. The insider said, “They were using the time apart to quietly and amicably work out the details of the divorce,” adding that the couple wanted to protect their daughters, Sunday and Faith. Now, the girls will reportedly live mostly with their mother, spending more than 300 days a year under her care.

According to the insiders, Kidman’s openness about her intense on-screen roles also rubbed Urban the wrong way. Her comments about being “so turned on” during sex scenes with Harris Dickinson for “Babygirl” raised eyebrows, and her warm praise for Zac Efron while filming “A Family Affair” fueled the chatter.

Recently, rumors have surfaced that Urban has moved on with Maggie Baugh, a 25-year-old musician in his band. A source said, “Their lives were moving in different directions,” adding, “Once he set up his own place, the writing was on the wall.”

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban seem focused on their separate paths for now. Kidman, who is reportedly “feeling betrayed and shattered,” is throwing herself into work, while Urban’s friends believe he’s finally ready for a fresh start.
