As such, his decommitment from the Buckeyes didn\u2018t come as a huge surprise.\n<\/p>\n \n\tNotably, his decommitment from Ohio State comes just two days after the Buckeyes hosted Penn State offensive tackle commit Kevin Brown for their 38-14 win over the Nittany Lions<\/a>. Brown, the sixth-ranked OT and No. 61 overall prospect<\/a> in the 2026 class, is now the Buckeyes\u2019 top target to replace Thomas in the class as they seek to get Brown back on campus again this month for an official visit.\n<\/p>\n \n\tAs things currently stand, Thomas\u2019 decommitment leaves Ohio State with four offensive linemen in the 2026 class: in-state prospects Sam Greer<\/a>, Maxwell Riley<\/a> and Landry Brede<\/a>, and Arizona offensive lineman Tucker Smith<\/a>.
