EastEnders\u2019 Junior Knight shocks his family next week<\/a> when he announces that he\u2019s heading back to Dubai for good. There\u2019s yet more turmoil for George when he finds out that Kojo Asare could soon be going home as well, but are both characters set to bid farewell to Albert Square?<\/p>\n

The week begins with George and Junior teaming up to support Kojo, who is eager to return to his flat following the latest developments in the drugs operation he has become embroiled in.<\/p>\n

But Junior takes the opportunity to open up to his dad and Gina about how much he\u2019s missing his son Xavier, who is on the other side of the world \u2013 and Kojo spots his chance to sneak back home unnoticed.<\/p>\n

This kicks off a violent chain of events<\/a> that has devastating consequences for a number of families in the Square. As the situation continues to escalate, George and Junior find themselves at odds again<\/a>, and things get even worse when Junior drops an unexpected bombshell\u2026<\/p>\n

“George is completely blindsided; to say his relationship with his son has been turbulent would be an understatement, but he doesn\u2019t want to be thousands of miles away from Junior once again.”<\/p>\n

George faces even more pressure when he gets a message from his brother Kobina<\/a>, demanding that Kojo returns to Ghana as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

As the week continues, George attempts to make amends with Junior before he leaves. But Junior isn\u2019t happy to discover that his dad plans to follow Kobina\u2019s orders and send Kojo back home.<\/p>\n

The pair angrily discuss this life-changing decision, but Kojo overhears their row and descends into panic. Junior manages to calm his uncle down, but Kojo remains adamant that he won\u2019t be returning to his previous life \u2013 so Junior takes matters into his own hands\u2026<\/p>\n

“Junior sets about changing George\u2019s mind,” reveals our source, “working to convince him that Kojo is happy where he is and they can keep him safe in the Square, despite everything that\u2019s happened. Will he be able to win over his dad?”<\/p>\n

With time running out, Junior grows desperate and decides to pay Ravi a visit, in a last-ditch attempt to help Kojo. What is Junior\u2019s plan \u2013 and who will end up leaving Walford by the end of the week?<\/p>\n
