\n\tFelicity Jones<\/a> admits she was at a loss for words when she met fellow \u201cStar Wars\u201d star Harrison Ford<\/a> for the first time on Monday night at the Los Angeles premiere of her new drama \u201cTrain Dreams<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThat was a real moment for me,\u201d Jones, who starred as Jyn Erso in \u201cRogue One: A Star Wars Story,\u201d<\/a> told me, adding, \u201cObviously, he\u2019s like the forefather of the whole universe. It\u2019s like meeting my great ancestral figure.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI was a little bit speechless, taken aback,\u201d she said. \u201cI actually really studied him, studied his work to play Jyn Erso in the film. He was a massive, massive inspiration, particularly what he does in \u2018Indiana Jones.\u2019 I watched them over and over and over again because I wanted to have some of that looseness that he has to be in her. It was very special, the worlds colliding tonight.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tJones\u2019 co-star Joel Edgerton<\/a>, who played Owen Lars in two \u201cStar Wars\u201d movies, as well in the television series \u201cObi-Wan Kenobi,\u201d<\/a> invited Ford to the premiere. The two have become close since Edgerton directed Ford in an ad campaign last year for Glenmorangie Scotch Whisky<\/a>. \u201cHe\u2019s a good enough friend to want to support the film and hang out and that made me feel very special,\u201d Edgerton said.<\/p>\n

\n\tDirected and co-written by Clint Bentley<\/a>, \u201cTrain Dreams\u201d is based Denis Johnson\u2019s novella of the same name about a logger and railroad man (Edgerton) in the early 20th century contemplating life as he experiences work, love (Jones plays his wife) and death.<\/p>\n

\n\tEdgerton felt the movie would resonate with Ford because he \u201clives out in the wilderness in Wyoming and he\u2019s very connected to nature.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFord also is a \u201cworking man,\u201d who was a carpenter before he become the \u201cgreatest\u201d movie star of \u201call time,\u201d Edgerton said. \u201cIn fact, I tried to buy a house back about eight years ago and the realtor said, \u2018You know, one of the cool things about this house is Harrison Ford built the kitchen.\u2019 And when I worked with Harrison, I told him this story, and he goes, \u2018Yeah,\u2019 and he told me the address of the house.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tEdgerton also revealed that he had a \u201cgreat\u201d reunion with George Lucas on Saturday at the LACMA Art+Film Gala<\/a>: \u201cI tapped him on the shoulder and was literally like, \u2018It\u2019s Uncle Owen.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cTrain Dreams\u201d will be released in select theaters in the U.S. on Nov. 7, before streaming on Netflix globally on Nov. 21. The film is gaining awards season traction, picking up two Gotham Film Awards nominations<\/a> last week for best feature and best adapted screenplay.<\/p>\n
