The congresswoman spoke about \u201cboth parties\u201d failing Americans in a bizarre olive branch toward the Donald Trump-hating panel.<\/p>\n

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene appeared on The View on TuesdayCredit: ABC<\/p>\n

The Republican spoke about Democrats and Republicans failing AmericansCredit: ABC<\/p>\n

Host Whoopi Goldberg<\/a> announced that Greene<\/a> would be joining them on Tuesday as they discussed Election Day.<\/p>\n

The Georgia representative shared the announcement on her social media and wrote that she was looking forward to the appearance.<\/p>\n

Greene\u2019s appearance comes as The View<\/a> has made a sudden push to include more diverse opinions after railing against Trump<\/a> and other conservatives for years.<\/p>\n

Last week, the show brought on actress Cheryl Hines, the wife of Trump\u2019s Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F Kennedy.<\/p>\n

During the episode, host Joy Behar claimed that they would like for Republicans to join, but they\u2019ve refused to come on the show.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think that we should have more Republicans on the show, but they don\u2019t want to come on. They\u2019re scared of us,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut if they would come on the show they could explain to us what they\u2019re trying to do to this country.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, emails released by conservative thought leaders appeared to show that bookers denied many right-leaning guests.<\/p>\n

Outkick\u2019s Riley Gaines, The Daily Wire\u2019s Matt Walsh, and New York Post columnist Karol Markowicz were all denied appearances on the show, according to Fox News<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Gaines shared her story on X, and Senator Ted Cruz, a Republican from Texas, responded, saying he had also been turned down.<\/p>\n

The View was created in 1997 by Walters who wished for a multi-generational cast of hosts to discuss the day\u2019s \u201chot topics.\u201d<\/p>\n

The majority of today\u2019s panel identifies as Democrat, save for Ana Navarro and Alyssa Farah Griffin.<\/p>\n

Though those two panelists are registered Republicans, they are both outspoken critics of Trump, the Associated Press<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n

Panelist Joy Behar teased Greene about becoming a Democrat after she criticized RepublicansCredit: ABC<\/p>\n
