\n\tAnother season, another quick renewal for Nobody Wants This<\/a>. Netflix<\/a> has ordered a third season of the popular romantic comedy starring Kristen Bell<\/a> and Adam Brody<\/a> to premiere in 2026. The news comes 12 days after the series created by Erin Foster released its 10-episode second season on October 23.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn its first 11 days, Season 2 has amassed 18M views globally<\/a>, ranking No. 1 on Netflix\u2019s Global English TV list for two straight weeks and reaching the Top 10 in 82 countries. While that is below the Season 1 delivery of 26.2M views in the first 11 days, it is still a strong showing for a comedy series, especially since the second season of Nobody Wants This did not feature big relationship milestones. Following the eventful first season, in which Joanne (Bell) and Noah (Brody) met, fell in love and briefly broke up before reuniting, Season 2 followed the natural course of a relationship by largely chronicling the duo\u2019s efforts to blend their lives together.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter mostly \u201ctreading water\u201d in Season 2, the series\u2019 pace is poised to pick up in Season 3 as Joanne is headed to a likely conversion to Judaism, as hinted in the finale.<\/p>\n

\n\tSeason 2 of Nobody Wants This also did what Netflix brass want to see \u2014 it brought Season 1 back into the Top 10 list at No. 7 for the week of Oct. 27. With that return, Season 1 has now spent eight total weeks in the top 10 and reached the top 10 in 89 countries.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Luminate\u2019s Top 50 U.S Streaming Viewership weekly chart for Oct. 24-30, which measures total hours watched, Nobody Wants This was No. 1 by a mile with 21.9M hours despite its shorter runtime as a half-hour comedy; Season 2 was No. 14 (3.6M).<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI couldn\u2019t be more excited to head into a third season of this show,\u201d Foster said. \u201cIt is a privilege to be able to write about my favorite couple on a scale like this. As long as it doesn\u2019t take too much time away from me watching reality TV at night, I\u2019ll do it for as long as they want me to.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tUnlike the Season 2 renewal of Nobody Wants This<\/a>, which came 14 days after the series debut, the Season 3 pickup does not come with a showrunner change. Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan, who joined after Season 1, are continuing as co-showrunners, and the series also will continue to film in Los Angeles. <\/p>\n

Their spark proved stronger than all of the obstacles trying to keep them apart. Now they\u2019re back, and fully committed to merging their lives \u2013\u2013 and loved ones \u2014 together.
