With just a couple days left before they were supposed to head out on tour with Vitriol and Weeping, Kansas-based death metal outfit Unmerciful were forced to announce that they were dropping off the bill \u201cdue to circumstances beyond our control.\u201d<\/p>\n
For reasons unknown at this time, Unmerciful were without their drummer Trynt Kelly is unable to join the band on this tour. Rather than cancel their appearances right away, the band apparently tried to find a suitable stand-in, but were unable to do so in time to get said drummer up to speed with their set. Hence the need for them to post the following on their social media feeds:<\/p>\n
\u201cDue to circumstances beyond our control, we have to cancel our tour with Vitriol and Weeping that we were so looking forward to being a part of.<\/p>\n
\u201cWith such short notice, we were not able to find a drummer to fill in for the tour. We apologize to Vitriol, Weeping, the promoters and most of all to our fans. We will be back out on the road to support Devouring Darkness as soon as we possibly can. Make sure and DO NOT miss this tour! Vitriol and Weeping will crush the stage at every show!!\u201d\n<\/p>\n
At this time, the band hasn\u2019t announced any additional cancellations, so their other planned touring responsibilities are ostensibly still on.<\/p>\n
