\n\tEXCLUSIVE: Marty Schousboe (Joe Pera Talks with You) has set the cast for Never Change!, his recently announced comedy for Hulu<\/a> and American High<\/a>, based on a story he developed with John Reynolds<\/a> (Search Party).<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter penning the script, Reynolds will star alongside Sofia Black-D\u2019Elia (Single Drunk Female), Carmen Christopher<\/a> (The Bear), Jo Firestone<\/a> (The Singles Retreat), and Gary Richardson<\/a> (Saturday Night Live).<\/p>\n

\n\tCurrently shooting in Syracuse, NY, utilizing American High\u2019s campus there and nearby locations, Never Change! follows the 2005 graduating class of North Meadows High School, whose senior year was cut short after a disastrous tornado destroyed half the campus. Now in their mid-30s, the former classmates are being forced to return home and finish high school once and for all. Old flames, second chances, and buried secrets collide in what promises to be a comedic nightmare.<\/p>\n

\n\tBlack-D\u2019Elia plays Katie Cartwright, with Christopher as Tedi Mayo, Firestone as Amelia Nadler, Reynolds as Sunny Football, and Richardson as Curtis Eldridge.<\/p>\n

\n\tJon Watts is producing for Freshman Year, alongside Nicholas Hatton and Jason Woliner for Swindle, Jeremy Garelick and Will Phelps for American High, Billy Rosenberg for All Things Comedy, and Jason Zaro. Molle Debartolo serves as executive producer for American High, with Axelle Azoulay co-producing and Matt Sacca associate producing for the company.<\/p>\n

\n\tBest known for starring in Freeform\u2019s Single Drunk Female, Black-D\u2019Elia\u2019s other credits include HBO\u2019s The Night Of, Showtime\u2019s Your Honor, and Fox\u2019s The Mick, as well as films To All the Boys: Always and Forever and Good Burger 2. She is repped by CAA and Brookside Artist Management.<\/p>\n

\n\tRecently seen on the FX series The Bear and English Teacher, Christopher\u2019s film credits include A24\u2019s Friendship alongside Tim Robinson and Paul Rudd, as well as Chelsea Peretti\u2019s First Time Female Director. He is repped by UTA, Rise Management, and Felker Toczek Suddleson.<\/p>\n

\n\tFirestone, known for her roles in Joe Pera Talks with You and Shrill, has also served as head writer on CBS\u2019s After Midnight and Showtime\u2019s Ziwe. She is repped by Gersh.<\/p>\n

\n\tReynolds is recognized for his work on Search Party, Stranger Things, and Yellowjackets. Film credits include Sony Pictures Classics\u2019 Oh, Hi!, Peacock\u2019s Genie, and Jeff Baena\u2019s Netflix pic Horse Girl. He is repped by CAA, Entertainment 360, and Felker Toczek Suddleson.<\/p>\n

\n\tA five-time Emmy nominee Richardson can currently be seen alongside Tim Robinson on HBO\u2019s The Chair Company, where he\u2019s a co-EP, having previously appeared and written on Robinson\u2019s Netflix series I Think You Should Leave.\u00a0He wrote on HBO\u2019s High Maintenance, was a longtime writer on Saturday Night Live, and also exec produced and wrote on HBO Max\u2019s That Damn Michael Che.
