At the time, Ohio State\u2019s top competitors\u00a0for Thomas\u2019 commitment were Florida State \u2013 his father\u2019s alma mater \u2013 and Texas A&M, who also hosted Thomas on June official visits.\n<\/p>\n \n\tInstead of going to any of those schools, however, Thomas will go to Minnesota. The Buckeyes are hoping to replace Thomas in the class with Penn State commit Kevin Brown, who would become the highest-rated offensive lineman in Ohio State\u2019s 2026 class as the nation\u2019s No. 6 offensive tackle\u00a0and No. 61 overall prospect<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n
