\n\tFrom one Slayer to another, Ryan Kiera Armstrong<\/a> is learning everything she can from Sarah Michelle Gellar<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs the pair films Hulu<\/a>\u2018s Buffy the Vampire Slayer<\/a> sequel series, Armstrong revealed the first thing Gellar told her as they began production, praising the Golden Globe nominee for her behind-the-scenes support.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI can\u2019t talk too much about Buffy,\u201d she prefaced to Collider<\/a>. \u201cShe\u2019s just as lovely as she seems on camera. She\u2019s such a great person. She went through Buffy. One of the first things she said to me was, \u2018I will protect you. I\u2019ll help guide you.\u2019 It still gets me. I love Sarah.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tNot just as Buffy\u2019s successor, but as a young actress in the industry, Armstrong has appreciated Gellar\u2019s guidance. \u201cWith everything, I have someone to always go to now,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\n\tOriginally running for seven seasons from 1997 to 2003, a Buffy the Vampire Slayer reboot is in production for Hulu, with Gellar returning as star and executive producer. Armstrong\u2019s casting was announced<\/a> in May.<\/p>\n

\n\tChlo\u00e9 Zhao is directing the pilot, written by Nora and Lilla Zuckerman.
