You\u2019re funny, protective, and have the biggest heart. Love you so much.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Reel was a collection of Madison\u2019s favorite memories of her son, whom she shares with\u00a0her ex-husband<\/a>. The montage included a photo of Hudson riding a tricycle during his toddler years, a photo of him wearing his football uniform, pictures from various family vacations, and sweet moments between him and his 4-month-old sister,\u00a0Teddi<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Madison LeCroy says Hudson had mixed feelings about having a sibling<\/p>\n

Madison and her husband,\u00a0Brett Randle<\/a>, welcomed their daughter in late June, less than\u00a0three years after tying the knot<\/a>. The South Carolina mom shed more light on the family’s addition on the\u00a0Southern Charm After Show<\/a>, revealing Hudson wasn\u2019t initially on board with having a little brother or sister.<\/p>\n

“At first, he didn’t [want a younger sibling],” Madison said before referring to their\u00a0family pet, Karen<\/a>. “And then I got a dog, and then he was like, ‘Actually, this is kinda cool.\u2019 And then he’s like, ‘OK, I can do this.’ And then he goes, ‘By the time this kid would turn 10, I’ll be in college.’ I was like, ‘Exactly! Basically, I’m gonna end up having like, only children, separately.”<\/p>\n

Madison LeCroy praises Hudson for stepping up as a big brother<\/p>\n

In the months leading up to Teddi\u2019s birth, Hudson helped his mom and stepdad with some of\u00a0the baby preparations<\/a>. Madison spoke about Hudson\u2019s assistance in a February interview with\u00a0Parents magazine<\/a>, suggesting her kids\u2019 relatively large age gap had more pros than cons.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe’s already stepped into the big brother role, talking about what he’s going to teach the baby and how he’s going to help. It really does melt my heart,\u201d she said. \u201cThe other day I got a stroller, one of many, and he helped me put it together.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
