Mind your Millie Bobby business. British Vogue<\/a> spoke to Millie Bobby Brown<\/a> shortly after news broke that she and husband Jake Bongiovi<\/a> had adopted a baby girl. When Vogue asked for deets about her new baby\u2019s personality, Brown laid down some firm boundaries. \u201cI\u2019m not going to,\u201d she said. \u201cFor me, it\u2019s really important to protect her and her story until she\u2019s old enough to potentially one day share it herself.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brown is hardly the first celebrity to shield their kids from the paps. Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard may overshare on a professional basis, but they started a campaign in 2014<\/a> to keep their kids out of photogs\u2019 sites. Many famous parents have followed suit to protect the faces of their unfamous offspring. But keeping even anecdotal personality stuff out of the public eye is a step up. It makes sense, given the fact that Brown grew up with paps chasing her into elevators and Bongiovi knows exactly what it\u2019s like to be the kid of a star. But the couple aren\u2019t ruling out child stardom; it will just have to be on the kid\u2019s terms. \u201cIt\u2019s not my place to purposefully put her in the spotlight unwillingly. If she chooses to share her personality one day with the world, like I did when I was young, that\u2019s something we\u2019d support,\u201d Brown said. Brown and Bongiovi aren\u2019t even going to give up the kid\u2019s name without her consent. She says the name drop will only happen when \u2014 or if \u2014 \u201cshe\u2019s ready to decide for herself.\u201d<\/p>\n
