Bills defensive end Michael Hoecht suffered a season-ending Achilles injury on Sunday against the Chiefs, but he wouldn\u2019t let the medical staff cart him to the locker room.<\/p>\n

Video posted by the Bills<\/a> shows Hoecht being told by a member of the team\u2019s medical staff, \u201cYou popped your Achilles. It\u2019s gonna be better for you if you ride in a cart.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hoecht replied that he\u2019d prefer to stay with his team. He then hopped down the sideline to the area of the bench where his fellow defensive linemen were, and stayed there for the rest of the game cheering on his teammates as the Bills completed their 28-21 win.<\/p>\n

As teammates came over to ask if he was OK, Hoecht repeatedly told them, \u201cWe\u2019ll deal with this tomorrow. Let\u2019s go win.\u201d One teammate told Hoecht, \u201cLove you, bro,\u201d and Hoecht replied, \u201cLove you, too.\u201d<\/p>\n
