{"id":275306,"date":"2025-11-06T14:36:11","date_gmt":"2025-11-06T14:36:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/275306\/"},"modified":"2025-11-06T14:36:11","modified_gmt":"2025-11-06T14:36:11","slug":"datadog-forecasts-strong-fourth-quarter-earnings-on-ai-driven-security-demand","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/275306\/","title":{"rendered":"Datadog forecasts strong fourth-quarter earnings on AI-driven security demand"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"yf-1090901\">(Reuters) -Datadog forecast fourth-quarter earnings above Wall Street estimates on \u200bThursday, betting on strong demand for \u200cits cloud-security products from businesses adopting <a href=\"https:\/\/tech.yahoo.com\/ai\/\" data-ylk=\"slk:artificial intelligence;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">artificial intelligence<\/a> technology.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1090901\">Shares \u200cof Datadog, which have risen 8.5% so far this year, gained nearly 10% in premarket trading.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1090901\">Growing AI use and cloud \u2060migration are driving demand \u200cfor Datadog&#8217;s monitoring and security tools that provide real-time protection, \u200daccess control and device oversight.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1090901\">Datadog joined the S&amp;P 500 in July and counts Shell, PayPal and \u200bComcast among its customers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1090901\">It forecast fourth-quarter revenue \u200cbetween $912 million and $916 million, above analysts&#8217; average estimate of $887.27 million, according to data compiled by LSEG.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1090901\">The company expects its adjusted profit per share to be \u2060between 54 cents and 56 \u200bcents for the fourth quarter,\u200b above analysts&#8217; estimate of 46 cents.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1090901\">Its revenue rose 28% to $885.65 \u200dmillion in \u2060the third quarter, beating estimates of $852.78 million.
