He was 24.<\/p>\n<p>The Cowboys <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/MikeGarafolo\/status\/1986443265453777225\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">announced Kneeland\u2019s passing<\/a> on Thursday. \u201cIt is with extreme sadness that the Dallas Cowboys share that Marshawn Kneeland tragically passed away this morning,\u201d the team said. \u201cMarshawn was a beloved teammate and member of our organization. Our thoughts and prayers regarding Marshawn are with his girlfriend Catalina and his family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The news was <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/mikegarafolo\/status\/1986443607125926038?s=46\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">separately confirmed<\/a> by Kneeland\u2019s agent, Jonathan Perzley.<\/p>\n<p>Kneeland was the fifth-sixth overall pick in the 2024 draft. A Michigan native, Kneeland played college football at Western Michigan from 2019 through 2023.
