The singer responded, \u201cWith maraschino cherries and\u00a0Diet Coke.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
Her response passed the lie detector test. Though the interview was published in February, the drink order caused a stir on TikTok, and content creators have been trying it out as a summer refresher.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The drink\u00a0is called a kalimotxo, or calimocho. It comes from the Basque Country of Spain.<\/p>\n
In its most popular form, the cocktail consists of red wine mixed with cola, but some people pair it with lemon-lime soda or orange pop.<\/p>\n

In a TikTok review, one creator said that \u201cyou can\u2019t really tell\u201d the differing flavors of the Coke and red wine when mixed together.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe two together \u2026 kind of cancel each other out, both very subtle,\u201d she said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t know if I\u2019d order it, but I\u2019ll probably finish this glass,\u201d the TikToker added.<\/p>\n
Another content creator described the drink as a \u201cboozy cherry Coke, but with rich tannins from the red wine.\u201d<\/p>\n
