Arizona State\u2019s Kenny Dillingham reportedly told his team in recent days that he\u2019s not planning on leaving for another job.<\/p>\n
Dillingham was Auburn\u2019s offensive coordinator in 2019 and has been mentioned in connection with the opening created when the Tigers fired Hugh Freeze last Sunday. Sun Devil Source, part of the 247 Sports Network, quoted<\/a> the parent of a current Arizona State player as saying Dillingham he would be in Tempe, Ariz., next year.<\/p>\n \u201cHe just walked in, said he wasn\u2019t going anywhere next year, and that it\u2019s going to be business as usual,\u201d the parent said of the team meetings, which reportedly took place before Arizona State beat Iowa State 24-19 last Saturday. \u201cThen he left. He also did that with other [positions on the team] because those players heard the same thing and they talked about it after.\u201d<\/p>\n The 35-year-old Dillingham is 20-15 in three seasons at Arizona State, his alma mater. The Sun Devils are 6-3 this year after going 11-3 and reaching the College Football Playoff in 2024. <\/p>\n In addition to his one season at Auburn under Gus Malzahn, Dillingham has also been offensive coordinator at Memphis, Florida State and Oregon.
