Manchester United<\/a> paid a transfer fee of around \u00a325m (\u20ac30m), including a further \u00a34.1m (\u20ac5m) in add-ons, to sign Patrick Dorgu<\/a> from Serie A outfit Lecce in February.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Red Devils and Denmark defender Dorgu has been Ruben Amorim\u2019s<\/a> preferred pick to play in the left wing-back role in the 40-year-old United manager<\/a>\u2019s tactical system.<\/p>\n But Dorgu had to settle for a place on the Red Devils\u2019 bench in United\u2019s pre-season opener against Leeds United<\/a> at the Strawberry Arena in Sweden on the weekend.<\/p>\n Amorim decided to try out new signing Diego Leon<\/a> in the left wing-back role in the 0-0 draw before swapping the Paraguayan wonderkid out at half-time for Dorgu.<\/p>\n READ MORE: Man Utd fans have lot to say about wonderkid Diego Leon after debut performance vs Leeds United, \u2018that kid is gonna\u2026\u2019<\/a><\/p>\n Rasmus Hojlund<\/a> struggled to impress in his second full season at Old Trafford<\/a> and the 22-year-old Danish forward has attracted transfer interest from clubs in Italy.<\/p>\n The Manchester United striker reported to pre-season training at Carrington<\/a> earlier this month and Rasmus Hojlund has insisted that he wants to remain at the club.<\/p>\n Hojlund has attracted interest from Inter Milan<\/a> and other Serie A clubs like Roma and AC Milan have had their names attached to the Denmark international.<\/p>\n Ruben Amorim has been tipped to bring in a new striker this summer and Hojlund\u2019s long-term future under the former Sporting CP manager is shrouded in mystery.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Speaking after United\u2019s 0-0 draw with Leeds United<\/a> in Stockholm, Patrick Dorgu admitted that Rasmus Hojlund wants to \u201credeem\u201d himself at the Red Devils.<\/p>\n \u201cI think most of the players had a step back last season,\u201d he said, as per the Manchester Evening News<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI think everyone wants to redeem themselves this season and I think Rasmus is the same.\u201d<\/p>\n Dorgu continued: \u201cI have more to bring to the team, more to give.
