Kings of Leon<\/a> have surprise released the band\u2019s first EP in more than two decades.<\/p>\n

Simply named EP #2, the four-track project marks the group\u2019s first independent release on their own label, Love Tap Records, distributed by Virgin Music, and features their first ever self-produced recordings. Listen to it below.<\/p>\n

EP #2 follows Kings of Leon\u2019s recent collaborations with Zach Bryan, \u201cWe\u2019re Onto Something<\/a>\u201d and \u201cBowery<\/a>.\u201d This past summer, KOL and Bryan teamed up for a series of stadium shows, where they debuted live performances of both songs.<\/p>\n

The new EP follows the band\u2019s most recent album, Can We Please Have Fun, which dropped in 2024. According to singer and guitarist Caleb Followill during an interview<\/a> with the Kyle Meredith With\u2026 podcast, the full-length was inspired by Julia Cameron\u2019s book The Artist\u2019s Way, as well of the music of post-punk acts like IDLES and Fontaines D.C.<\/p>\n

The band also recently revealed that they\u2019ll be ending the year with a two-night residency in Las Vegas. \u201cKings of Leon: Live in Las Vegas\u201d will take place on December 30th and 31st, 2025, at The Venetian Theatre at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. Get tickets here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
