{"id":277981,"date":"2025-11-07T21:14:08","date_gmt":"2025-11-07T21:14:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/277981\/"},"modified":"2025-11-07T21:14:08","modified_gmt":"2025-11-07T21:14:08","slug":"chrishell-stause-leaving-netflixs-selling-sunset-after-9-seasons","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/277981\/","title":{"rendered":"Chrishell Stause Leaving Netflix&#8217;s &#8216;Selling Sunset&#8217; After 9 Seasons"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/chrishell-stause\/\" id=\"auto-tag_chrishell-stause\" data-tag=\"chrishell-stause\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Chrishell Stause<\/a> is over the <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/selling-sunset\/\" id=\"auto-tag_selling-sunset\" data-tag=\"selling-sunset\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Selling Sunset<\/a> drama and will not return to the <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/netflix\/\" id=\"auto-tag_netflix\" data-tag=\"netflix\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Netflix<\/a> reality series after its ninth season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tAlthough the streamer has not renewed the show for another season, if another is filmed, Stause will not be a part of it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t\u201cI\u2019ve vacillated back and forth with this decision in the past,\u201d Stause told <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bustle.com\/entertainment\/chrishell-stause-quitting-selling-sunset-netflix-exclusive-interview\">Bustle<\/a> about quitting the show. \u201cI have to be honest \u2014 having come from nothing, it\u2019s really hard to turn something like this down.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tStause said that \u201cJesus Christ himself\u201d couldn\u2019t persuade her to return for another season of\u00a0Selling Sunset,\u00a0and neither could creator Adam DiVello, who she claims has been calling and messaging \u201c100 times a day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe reality television personality says that she has \u201cgotten to a place where I don\u2019t need the show financially,\u201d adding, \u201cI\u2019m lucky to have other forms of employment, because it\u2019s no longer good for my mental health.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tStause was one of the original cast members of the Netflix reality series when it debuted in 2019. The show follows the real estate brokerage Oppenheim Group and its agents as they navigate their personal and professional lives.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tIn Season 9, Stause had a difficult time navigating her relationships with her co-stars, as there was animosity between them. She sparred with Nicole Young, who, early on in the season, hit below the belt by mentioning her deceased parents in an effort to shift accountability.
