So many things are happening with it.\u201d Trump\u2019s reassurance comes amid the eight largest AI-related stocks losing a combined $900 billion in value since last Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Trump Administration Won\u2019t Bail Out the AI Industry<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this week, OpenAI CFO Sarah Friar hinted that the U.S. government would \u201cbackstop\u201d the company\u2019s investments before quickly retracting the statement. However, Friar\u2019s comments quickly propelled rumors that the AI industry faced a capital shortfall, fueling the ongoing tech selloff.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere will be no federal bailout for AI. The U.S. has at least 5 major frontier model companies. If one fails, others will take its place,\u201d wrote White House AI and <a data-autolink=\"true\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tipranks.com\/cryptocurrency\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Crypto<\/a> Czar David Sacks in an X post.<\/p>\n<p>AI stocks faced pressure even before Friar\u2019s statement amid concerns of elevated valuations.
