\n\tAs the feud between Golden Bachelor<\/a> stars Gerry Turner<\/a> and Theresa Nist<\/a> continues to heat up amid the release of the former leading man\u2019s memoir<\/a>, Nist is making a shocking new claim.<\/p>\n

\n\tDuring a recent interview on the Dear Shandy\u00a0podcast<\/a>, Nist recalled a specific conversation she had with her ex-husband, which she feels represented his \u201cunderlying feeling\u201d of \u201canimosity\u201d towards her.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI finally went to his house and we took a walk around this lake called Pretty Lake and we were coming to the end of it and he said \u2014 this is really bizarre \u2014 He said, \u2018You see that shed up there?\u2019 I said, \u2018Yeah.\u2019 He said, \u2018Well, that\u2019s where I\u2019m going to hide your body after I kill you and chop you up,\u2019\u201d she claimed. \u201cAnd he wasn\u2019t laughing. I said, \u2018Well, if this was his idea of a joke, that was pretty dark humor.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tNist added, \u201cI just felt like there was animosity in that statement that was underlying. Like, maybe if he could have gotten rid of me somehow. I don\u2019t think he would have killed me. No, I don\u2019t think that was true. It\u2019s not true, but it just spoke to an underlying feeling about me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Hollywood Reporter has reached out to Turner\u2019s rep for comment.<\/p>\n

\n\tThough Turner and Nist left the first season of ABC\u2019s The Golden Bachelor engaged in 2023 and tied the knot in a televised ceremony <\/a>a few months later, their love story was short-lived<\/a>. In 2024, only a few months after their nuptials, the pair announced they were divorcing<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cTheresa and I have had a number of heart-to-heart conversations, and we\u2019ve looked closely at our situation, our living situation, so forth and \u2014 and we\u2019ve kind of come to the conclusion mutually that it\u2019s probably time for us to \u2014 dissolve our marriage,\u201d Turner said, sitting next to Nist, in an interview with Good Morning America<\/a> in April 2024.<\/p>\n

\n\tHowever, in Turner\u2019s new book<\/a>, Golden Years: What I\u2019ve Learned From Love, Loss, and Reality TV, new details have emerged about what really went down between the couple, at least from the former Golden Bachelor\u2019s perspective. In the memoir, he reportedly claims that he had doubts about their relationship prior to their wedding and that a lack of intimacy led to their divorce.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Dear Shandy, Nist said she\u2019s been \u201cextremely upset\u201d about what she\u2019s read in his memoir. \u201cAnytime I talk about anything that I read that he said about any interaction we had, I just go, \u2018That\u2019s not how it was,’\u201d she admitted, noting that she never intended to comment about their relationship until now.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI never planned on saying anything about what happened between us. So many people asked me and I would just say, \u2018You can\u2019t really know a person in the amount of time, like in four weeks,\u2019 and I would leave it at that,\u201d she added. \u201cHonestly, it was really a matter of if you have nothing good to say, just don\u2019t say anything.
