Denise Richards has been granted a permanent restraining order from her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, amid their contentious divorce.<\/p>\n
After an emotional day in court, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge has ordered Phypers to stay at least 100 yards away from Richards and her place of work until Nov. 7, 2030.<\/p>\n
Per the judge, he has also been barred from contacting her in any manner, per Us Weekly<\/a>.<\/p>\n Outside of the courthouse, Phypers, 53, reacted to the judge\u2019s verdict, telling Entertainment Tonight he \u201cwished it was the other way.\u201d<\/p>\n Denise Richards has been granted a permanent restraining order against her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers. Andy Johnstone for Page Six<\/p>\n The former Quantum360 owner also expressed that he was not worried about how the ruling would affect his upcoming spousal support hearing, which is scheduled for Jan. 5, 2026.<\/p>\n \u201cI know the truth. This may be hidden for a minute,\u201d he continued to the outlet after the hearing. \u201cWe\u2019re going to reset a little bit, but that\u2019s okay.\u201d<\/p>\n As for his next steps, Phypers said he\u2019s looking forward to going home and taking \u201ca break\u201d while he gets \u201cready for the next show.\u201d <\/p>\n Reps for Richards and Phypers did not immediately respond to Page Six\u2019s request for comment. <\/p>\n The restraining order will be in effect until Nov. 7, 2030. Aaron Phypers\/Instagram<\/p>\n Phypers \u2014 who previously accused Richards of abusing\u00a0painkillers and alcohol<\/a>, which she has denied\u00a0\u2014 responded to Richards\u2019 allegations<\/a> in court, telling his attorney it\u2019s safe to say his ex \u201cbruises easily.\u201d<\/p>\n He also testified that he had no recollection of her getting a black eye. Though, he acknowledged that her eye looked \u201cbruised\u201d around Jan. 17, 2022, when Richards claimed the alleged physical incident took place.<\/p>\n \u201cShe would bruise her arms, all sorts of stuff. She\u2019d bruise herself while cooking\u2026 falling down,\u201d he testified, adding that he witnessed Richards getting injured \u201coften.\u201d<\/p>\n Phypers previously denied Richards\u2019 allegations of abuse after she claimed he gave her a black eye.
