{"id":278655,"date":"2025-11-08T05:12:09","date_gmt":"2025-11-08T05:12:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/278655\/"},"modified":"2025-11-08T05:12:09","modified_gmt":"2025-11-08T05:12:09","slug":"daytime-broadcast-ratings-for-the-week-of-october-27-31-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/278655\/","title":{"rendered":"Daytime Broadcast Ratings for the Week of October 27-31, 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Now in its fourth season, \u201cNBC News Daily\u201d continues to display significant year-over-year growth among Total Viewers just six weeks into the 2025-2026 television season.<\/p>\n<p>During the week of October 27-31, 2025, the news program averaged 1.432 million viewers, +132,000 viewers ahead of its afternoon news competitor, \u201cGMA3\u201d (1.300 million), marking its largest viewership advantage to date over the ABC News program and its largest overall audience since its premiere in September 2022 on NBC*. Further, for the first time, the program topped \u201cBeyond the Gates\u201d among Women 18-49 (0.15 rating vs. 0.14 rating), ranking 11th for the week in one of two key sales demographics used to sell ads for daytime television for the first time since previously duking it out with \u201cThe Talk.\u201d Among Women 18-49, the news program also saw year-over-year growth, up +0.02 (0.15 rating vs. 0.13 rating).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns=\" http:=\"\" alt=\"Beyond the Gates, BTG, Opening Titles\" class=\"wp-image-759495\" data-lazy- data-lazy- data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Beyond-The-Gates-Opening-Title-300x169.jpg.webp.webp\"\/>\u201cBeyond the Gates\u201d<br \/>CBS<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNBC News Daily\u201d was up +261,000 viewers year-over-year and +160,000 week-to-week, and saw the largest gains among Total Viewers across daytime broadcast. Meanwhile, \u201cBeyond the Gates\u201d (1.523 million) led \u201cNBC News Daily\u201d by just +91,000 viewers, the smallest advantage the soap opera has had over any show that ranked 12th for the week since it premiered in February 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Among Women 25-54, \u201cBeyond the Gates\u201d was flat week-to-week with a 0.24 rating and tied with the year ago performance of former time slot holder \u201cThe Talk.\u201d \u201cNBC News Daily\u201d was up +0.02 week-to-week (0.22 rating vs. 0.20 rating) and up +0.01 year-over-year (0.22 rating vs. 0.21 rating), and was the only daytime broadcast program to see year-over-year growth in both demographics, with only the second half-hour of \u201cThe Price is Right\u201d (4.242 million) seeing growth in Women 25-54 (0.54 rating vs. 0.52 rating).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNBC News Daily\u201d also topped \u201cTODAY with Jenna &amp; Friends\u201d among Total Viewers (1.432 million vs. 1.374 million).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns=\" http:=\"\" alt=\"Wayne Brady, Let's Make a Deal, LMAD, #LMAD\" class=\"wp-image-758031\" data-lazy- data-lazy- data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Wayne-Brady-Lets-Make-A-Deal-1024x576.jpg.webp.webp\"\/>Wayne Brady<br \/>Sonja Flemming\/CBS<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet\u2019s Make a Deal\u201d set a new season high for both half hours, with the second half-hour  (2.540 million) growing +117,000 viewers week-to-week and the first half-hour (2.143 million) up +102,000. \u201cTODAY 3rd Hour\u201d set a multi-month high among Total Viewers, attracting 2.035 million viewers for the week, its largest overall audience since at least the week of January 20-24, 2025. Demographically, the new program was up +0.04 week-to-week among Women 18-49, ranking third with a 0.24 rating, and up +0.02 among Women 25-54, also placing third with a 0.37 rating.<\/p>\n<p>For the sixth time in seven weeks, including ties, \u201cThe Bold and the Beautiful\u201d (2.553 million) was the highest-rated scripted daytime drama series among Women 18-49 with a 0.20 rating, flat with its performance one week earlier, though down -0.03 from year-over-year. The half-hour soap opera, which saw a minor drop week-to-week among Total Viewers, topped \u201cThe Young and the Restless\u201d (2.941 million) in Women 18-49 (0.20 rating vs. 0.19 rating), and was within striking distance of tying its long-running lead-in among Women 25-54. <\/p>\n<p>With its 0.35 rating, \u201cThe Young and the Restless\u201d was down -0.03 week-to-week among Women 25-54, while \u201cThe Bold and the Beautiful\u201d was up +0.01 (0.34 rating). \u201cGeneral Hospital\u201d was up +0.01 week-to-week in both Women 18-49 (0.16 rating vs. 0.15 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.25 rating vs. 0.24 rating).<\/p>\n<p>Wrap-Up<\/p>\n<p>What follows is a breakdown of how the daytime broadcast shows\u00a0performed during the week of October 27-31, 2025\u00a0among Women 18-49 rating, Women 25-54 rating, Households and Total Viewers, including week-to-week and year-over-year comparisons.<\/p>\n<p>Note*: Figures under the 2024 column for \u201cBeyond the Gates\u201d are compared to the performance of the former time slot occupant, \u201cThe Talk.\u201d \u201cTODAY with Jenna &amp; Friends\u201d is compared with the performance of its predecessor, \u201cTODAY with Hoda &amp; Jenna.\u201d Meanwhile, \u201cGMA3\u201d is compared with its predecessor, \u201cGMA3: What You Need to Know.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Additionally, 2024 comparisons, particularly Households and Total Viewers, were unavailable to this publication for most daytime broadcast shows, unlessed stated otherwise, until at least February 2025.
