ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. \u2013 The City of St. Augustine is hosting its annual free document shredding and electronics recycling event.<\/p>\n
The free community event will be on Nov. 21 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Solid Waste Facility located at 601 Riberia Street.<\/p>\n
The city is offering an opportunity for the community to shred documents (five box limit), recycle outdated or broken electronic devices and dispose of used cooking oil.<\/p>\n
Items that will not be accepted at this event include TVs, hazardous waste, such as paint and pesticides, used tires, or motor oil.<\/p>\n
Acceptable recyclable items are:<\/p>\n
Throughout the year, the City of St. Augustine accepts recyclable materials daily during regular business hours. You may take e-waste to the Solid Waste Facility, located at 601 Riberia St., and cooking oil to the Wastewater Treatment Plant, located at 501 Riberia St.<\/p>\n
