Influencer Peighton Tubre<\/a> is setting the record straight.\n<\/p>\n On Nov. 5, the content creator \u2014\u00a0known by over 1 million followers online for her football commentary \u2014\u00a0took to Instagram to address speculation that she was having an affair with LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n \u201cRecently, there was an article posted on Facebook saying that I was having an affair with Garrett Nussmeier, that we were seen entering a hotel room together the night before one of his games,\u201d began the internet personality<\/a> in a video.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n When she first saw the post, Tubre said it had only 30 likes, so she didn\u2019t initially respond because she didn\u2019t want to \u201cbring attention\u201d to it, she explained.\n<\/p>\n \u201cI was just kind of hoping that it was going to go away and nobody was going to see it,\u201d she added.\n<\/p>\n Peighton Tubre.<\/p>\n Peighton Tubre\/Instagram<\/p>\n \u201cSpoiler alert. In a joint Instagram post<\/a> from July, they captioned the post: \u201cForever and always, yes yes yes.\u201d\n<\/p>\n After her initial statement, Tubre made light of the situation in a follow-up post on TikTok<\/a>, lip-syncing to a viral audio from ex-LSU head coach Brian Kelly, who said, \u201cWe\u2019re sitting here again \u2014\u00a0we\u2019re sitting here again talking about the same things!\u201d\n<\/p>\n She overlaid the video with the text, \u201cWhen they post another fake article about me & Garrett Nussmeier.”\n<\/p>\n
