{"id":279521,"date":"2025-11-08T15:09:09","date_gmt":"2025-11-08T15:09:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/279521\/"},"modified":"2025-11-08T15:09:09","modified_gmt":"2025-11-08T15:09:09","slug":"alexander-zverev-makes-claim-about-jannik-sinners-tennis-he-thinks-even-carlos-alcaraz-will-agree-with","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/279521\/","title":{"rendered":"Alexander Zverev makes claim about Jannik Sinner&#8217;s tennis he thinks even Carlos Alcaraz will agree with"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>   <a class=\"fw\" href=\"https:\/\/profile.google.com\/cp\/Cg0vZy8xMXlnMTNoeXE4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"28\" height=\"28\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/wp-content\/themes\/grv-media\/img\/google-discover.svg\" alt=\"\"\/> Follow us on Google Discover <\/a>  <\/p>\n<p>Alexander Zverev will play Jannik Sinner for the third time in three weeks at the ATP Finals in Turin.<\/p>\n<p>The German star lost to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/jannik-sinner\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Sinner<\/a> in the final of the Vienna Open and the semifinals of the Paris Masters recently.<\/p>\n<p>He now trails the world number one 4-5 in their head-to-head, having led 4-1 just over a year ago.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/GettyImages-2244492863-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev embrace at the net after their semifinal match at the 2025 Paris Masters.\" class=\"wp-image-140660\" \/>Photo by Julian Finney\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>The record doesn\u2019t bode well for Zverev heading into the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/atp-finals\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ATP Finals<\/a>, as he and Sinner are set to headline the \u2018Bjorn Borg Group\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>During a pre-tournament press conference, Zverev was asked if he would rather have been placed in the same group as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/carlos-alcaraz\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Carlos Alcaraz<\/a> than Sinner.<\/p>\n<p>Alexander Zverev says Jannik Sinner is the best player in the world and thinks Carlos Alcaraz would agree<\/p>\n<p>Zverev didn\u2019t hesitate to tell the world he\u2019d rather play Alcaraz than Sinner.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCarlos!\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt doesn\u2019t matter, to be honest. Well, it matters, but they are both the best players in the world for sure.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut for me, on this particular surface and indoors on a faster hard court, I feel like this court is much faster than Paris.
