Pixels were on a break for a while, in terms of discounts, but now they are back in full force. The entire Pixel 10 lineup is up to $300 off and so is the vanilla model from last year.<\/p>\n

The Google Pixel 9 flaunts some advantages over its replacement \u2013 a large 1\/1.31\u201d 50MP sensor in the main camera and a high-resolution 48MP ultra-wide (vs. 13MP). It misses the 10.8MP 5x\/112mm periscope, though, that\u2019s new for 2025. It also has a slightly smaller battery, 4,700mAh vs. 4,970mAh. However, battery life on the Pixel 9 is actually better (with a 13:05h Active use score compared to 12:08h for the new model). Charging speed is about the same.<\/p>\n

The Google Pixel 10 is in the first generation after the switch away from Samsung to TSMC as the fab for Tensor chipsets. However, the Tensor G5 is anything but impressive \u2013 it\u2019s faster than the G4, though that\u2019s a low bar to clear. And it\u2019s not that much faster.<\/p>\n

Note that the big discount on the Pixel 9 only applies to the 128GB variant \u2013 the 256GB model is only $100 off, so the Pixel 10 256GB is actually cheaper.<\/p>\n

For $150 more than the vanilla 10, you can have the Pixel 10 Pro. This one does have the large 1\/1.31\u201d 50MP sensor in the main (vs. 1\/2.0\u201d 48MP), along with higher resolution telephoto (48MP 5x\/113mm), ultra-wide (48MP) and selfie cameras (42MP). All of these have 6.3\u201d displays \u2013 if you want a larger one, you can grab the Pixel 10 Pro XL. It\u2019s basically an up-sized 10 Pro with a 6.8\u201d display and a 5,200mAh battery with higher charge rates (45W wired and 25W wireless vs. 30W\/15W).<\/p>\n

Of course, if a large screen is all you are after, the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is also $300 off \u2013 this gives you a roomy 8.0\u201d display inside, in addition to the 6.4\u201d cover display. The Tensor G5 is not a great multitasker, despite having 16GB of RAM, and the cameras are less impressive than on the 10 Pro\/10 Pro XL.<\/p>\n

This was Google\u2019s own take on Android \u2013 Nothing has a different view. The Nothing Phone (3) is the company\u2019s first attempt at a flagship and while it\u2019s not overly ambitious with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset and a 6.67\u201d LTPS OLED display, at least it\u2019s cheaper than most flagships. Plus, the 8s Gen 4 beats the Tensor G5. The phone has four 50MP cameras \u2013 1\/1.3\u201d main, 3x periscope and 114\u00b0 ultra-wide on the back and one on the front. The 5,150mAh battery supports 65W wired and 15W wireless charging.<\/p>\n

Google doesn\u2019t make flip foldables, but Motorola does. This one is from last year \u2013 the Motorola Razr 2024 is down to just $350, which is mid-range territory. The phone packs a 6.9\u201d LTPO main display and a 3.6\u201d cover display, plus a 4,200mAh battery with 30W wired and 15W wireless charging. The Dimensity 7300X chipset is just okay and the same goes for the 50+13MP camera setup.<\/p>\n

Next up, we will look at some headphones. The Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 are capable in-ear headphones that are more comfortable than the original. Noise cancellation and especially audio quality are significantly improved too. However, while Google has some cutting edge software on these, we wish they would focus more on bug fixes.<\/p>\n

The Nothing Headphone (1) is an over-ear set that drips with style and has great audio quality and noise cancellation. Build quality is great too, but the headphones are on the heavy side. And the styling isn\u2019t for everyone.<\/p>\n

To complete the set, the Moto Buds+ from Motorola feature dual drivers \u2013 11mm woofers and 6mm tweeters with audio tuning by Bose. They support Hi-Res Audio, Dolby Atmos and even Dolby Head Tracking.<\/p>\n

Finally, a couple of smartwatches. The Apple Watch Series 10 was a major redesign, while the Series 11 from earlier this year didn\u2019t change much. The watch is slim (9.7mm) and light (29.3g\/35.3g for 42mm and 46mm). It has ECG and is rated for 50m water resistance.<\/p>\n

The Samsung Galaxy Watch8 Classic brings back a fan favorite, the rotating bezel. It has ECG and also blood pressure monitoring, plus it is rated for 50m water resistance.<\/p>\n
