Indiana remained No. 1 on my Associated Press ballot by the narrowest of margins, like its last-second win at Penn State. Ohio State remains at No. 2, followed by Texas A&M, Alabama and Georgia.<\/p>\n
Seven teams on this week\u2019s Top 25 ballot didn\u2019t play this week, so there wasn\u2019t much difference from last week\u2019s ballot. USF did re-enter my rankings after defeating UTSA and is now the favorite to earn the Group of 5\u2019s College Football Playoff berth.<\/p>\n
My Top 25 ballot after Week 11:<\/p>\n
The Hoosiers pulled off a remarkable 27-24 comeback win at Penn State<\/a>. Quarterback Fernando Mendoza<\/a> only threw for 218 yards passing, but hit wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr.<\/a> for the game-winning 7-yard touchdown with 36 seconds remaining.<\/p>\n The Buckeyes started slow, but eventually overwhelmed Purdue<\/a> 34-10. Quarterback Julian Sayin<\/a> threw for\u00a0303 yards. Wide receiver Jeremiah Smith<\/a> had 137 yards receiving on a season-high 10 receptions, including a 35-yard touchdown from Sayin.<\/p>\n The Aggies remained the SEC\u2019s only unbeaten team with a 38-17 win at Missouri<\/a>. It\u2019s Texas A&M\u2019s best start since 1992. Quarterback Marcel Reed<\/a> had 221 yards passing and two touchdowns. Rueben Owens<\/a> II rushed for 102 yards and two scores.<\/p>\n The Crimson Tide won a 20-9 slugfest with LSU,<\/a> holding the Tigers without a touchdown for the first time this season. Quarterback Ty Simpson<\/a> threw for 277 yards and a touchdown.<\/p>\n The Bulldogs throttled Mississippi State<\/a> 41-21 behind quarterback Gunner Stockton<\/a>, who threw for 264 yards and three touchdowns. Nate Frazier<\/a> had 181 yards rushing on only 12 carries, including\u00a0a 59-yard touchdown.<\/p>\n Quarterback Trinidad Chambliss<\/a> completed 29 of 33 and threw for 331 yards and three touchdowns as the Rebels blanked The Citadel<\/a> 49-0. Ole Miss, which took a 35-0 halftime lead, rolled up 603 yards, compared to only 106 by the Bulldogs.<\/p>\n The Red Raiders knocked off unbeaten BYU<\/a> 29-7 to strengthen their College Football Playoff hopes. Running back Cameron Dickey<\/a> rushed for 121 yards on 23 carries and quarterback Behren Morton<\/a> threw for 219 yards and a touchdown.<\/p>\n The Ducks barely escaped Iowa<\/a> with an 18-16 victory. Atticus Sappington<\/a> hit the 39-yard game-winning field goal with three seconds remaining. Running back Noah Whittington<\/a> (118 yards rushing) carried the offense as quarterback Dante Moore<\/a> was held to 112 yards passing.<\/p>\n The Irish won their seventh consecutive game, pulling away from Navy<\/a> 49-10. Quarterback CJ Carr<\/a> threw for 218 yards and three touchdowns. Jeremiyah Love<\/a>\u00a0had 94 yards rushing and two touchdowns, including a spectacular 48-yard score.<\/p>\n 10.\u00a0BYU<\/a> (8-1)<\/p>\n The Cougars lost at Texas Tech<\/a> 29-7. Quarterback Bear Bachmeier<\/a> threw for 188 yards and the Cougars\u2019 only touchdown. Running back LJ Martin<\/a> was held to 35 yards rushing.
